The drive is about 10 minutes on a normal day, straight down through Ingleby Barwick and over the river, or along the A135 if you are coming from the Stockton end. It is short enough that a 60 minute treatment after work still leaves you your evening.

From central Thornaby head south on Thornaby Road and continue through Ingleby Barwick on Low Lane, then join the A1044 and follow signs for Yarm. From the northern side of Thornaby the A135 through Eaglescliffe and over Yarm Bridge is just as quick. We are at 49 High Street, on the cobbles near the Town Hall.
Yarm High Street parking is free for the 1st hour and £2 for 1 to 3 hours, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. For a 90 minute ritual, West Street, The Old Market and Castle Dyke Wynd car parks are £3.50 all day. After 5pm and all day Sunday parking is free.

Smooth heated basalt stones and warm oil, glided through the muscles and rested where you hold tension, so the warmth sinks in and tightness melts away without heavy pressure. It is the most comforting hour you can give yourself when you feel tense but would rather have warmth than firm work. After a gentle warm up, the stones travel up from the legs, settling the back and shoulders, before your therapist finishes with a soft head massage by hand. You will feel warm right through, calm and wonderfully relaxed.
Head, Neck & Shoulder, 30 minutes, £30. The practical option if you are fitting it around a school run or a shift. 10 minutes each way, 30 minutes of focused work.
