Why It Exists
Not a longer massage. A different thing entirely.
Our signature ritual, and the most complete treatment we offer. We begin by gently warming the whole body, then Thai massage works its way up from the legs, easing out the tightness you have been carrying for weeks. Warm herbal compresses follow, soft bundles of Thai herbs steamed and pressed into aching muscles, so a deep, comforting heat sinks in exactly where you need it. Beautifully scented aromatherapy oils carry you further into calm, before a slow, soothing head massage brings everything to a peaceful close. The strongest relief we can give in 1 visit, and the treatment our regulars keep coming back for.
Each part has time to unfold, from the Thai massage through the warm compresses and scented oils to a quiet head massage at the end.
At £100 it is the dearest treatment on our menu and we do not pretend otherwise. It is the fullest treatment sequence on our menu.
The Ritual

Traditional Thai massage
After a full body warm up, Thai massage works upwards from the legs. Your therapist keeps the pressure comfortable before the warm herbal compress stage.

Steamed herbal compresses
Warm herbal compresses follow, with steamed bundles of Thai herbs pressed into aching muscles so the heat sinks in where you need it most. Temperature is checked throughout.

Aromatherapy oils
Beautifully scented aromatherapy oils carry the ritual on with slow, flowing strokes and a gentle, relaxing pace.

A slow head massage brings the ritual to a peaceful close, leaving you deeply relaxed.
The Herbs
How the warm compress stage works
Herbal compresses are fabric bundles containing an aromatic herbal mixture. They are steamed before treatment so they can be used as a warm, scented part of the massage.
The exact contents can vary, so please do not rely on a website ingredient list when deciding whether the treatment is suitable. Tell us about plant, fragrance or skin allergies before booking and we will check the current compress product.
Compresses are checked for temperature against the therapist's own skin before touching you, and are always in motion or briefly held rather than left in place.

It is our softest ritual, made purely for relaxation, with no deep or strong pressure at any point. Your therapist starts by warming you through, then smooth hot stones and long, flowing oil strokes rise from the legs, wrapping your muscles in heat and letting tension simply melt. As the treatment draws to a close, a peaceful head massage helps your mind quieten as much as your body. A lovely choice for a first visit, or for anyone who just wants to feel cared for.

After a full body warm up, deep tissue work and heated stones ease you from the legs upwards, untangling knots while warmth spreads through every tired muscle. 90 minute rituals are best booked ahead, particularly for evenings and weekends, so the full appointment time can be reserved.
Practical Notes
Making the most of 90 minutes
Do not book it before something important. You will not want to go straight into a meeting or a busy evening afterwards. Guests who plan a quiet evening get far more from it.
Eat lightly beforehand. A heavy meal an hour before 90 minutes of face-down bodywork is uncomfortable.
Arrive 5 minutes early. The ritual runs to time and starting late shortens it, since your therapist usually has a guest booked after you.
You will smell of herbs. Wonderfully so. Many guests deliberately leave showering until the following morning.
Plan a quiet finish. Give yourself a few minutes after the treatment before travelling on to the rest of your day.
