This site has no account area, and appointments and payment details are handled in the external Vagaro booking service. Under the route-specific choices described below, we use 3 measurement tools: Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site; the Meta Pixel to measure Facebook and Instagram advertising; and Microsoft Clarity for optional heatmaps and masked session recordings. Measurements can include pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, approximate region, browser and device information. They are not used by Tara Spa to identify you by name or obtain your booking details.

Clarity uses Strict text masking. It is configured to mask text it identifies as sensitive, including form fields, email addresses and numbers. We do not record audio, camera video or anything entered into Vagaro. Clarity is not loaded on the hidden post-booking confirmation page.

A non-blocking notice offers equally direct Accept All and Only Necessary choices. Google Analytics 4 (G-963SQ54BPS) and Meta Pixel (1363583042581709) load immediately on /book, every /book/treatment page and /vagaro-booking-confirmed for advertising measurement, including when you decline, make no choice or block browser storage. On every other route, their libraries and measurement events remain off until you choose Accept All. Microsoft Clarity (ymu9plr7oi) always requires explicit Accept All and never loads on the confirmation page. You can use the booking flow regardless of your choice.

Necessary browser storage may remember your cookie choice. It can also support the booking journey with an opaque receipt or deduplication marker for up to 24 hours; this is used to make the hand-off and confirmation flow work and is not optional analytics. It does not contain Vagaro booking details. If browser storage is blocked, an active choice is kept in memory for the current page only, so the site still respects it without being able to remember it next time.

On paid-booking arrivals, recognised campaign labels, selected-treatment context and an advertising-click marker can be retained in browser storage for up to 7 days to connect advertising measurement with a later booking journey. These booking-route campaign records do not depend on Accept All and remain available after Only Necessary on a booking page. Outside the booking routes, withdrawal clears optional campaign context while preserving the separate necessary opaque booking receipt. Storage remains best-effort when browser settings block it.

Choosing Only Necessary, or later withdrawing consent, stops future optional Clarity measurement everywhere and Google/Meta measurement on non-booking pages, and sends a denied/revoked instruction to those optional vendors if already loaded. It does not disable Google/Meta on the booking routes described above. It cannot retract information that a provider already received while your earlier consent was active. You can change your choice using Cookie settings at the bottom of the page, without clearing your booking journey. To remove the remembered choice completely, clear this site's browser data; you can also block cookies in browser settings.

Our hosting platform currently injects a separate Manus Analytics script into the live website. It is outside the Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Clarity scripts controlled by this site, and is not controlled by the Accept All / Only Necessary choice above. We have not been given verified information about its data handling or a supported way to disable or gate it. We will update this notice when the hosting provider gives us those facts and a supported control.

Appointments are handled by the external booking service Vagaro, which opens in a new tab when you tap Book Now. Any details you enter to reserve a treatment, such as your name, telephone number and email address, are submitted to that system rather than to this website, and are processed under their own privacy terms alongside ours. We use those details only to arrange and honour your appointment.

The map on our homepage and local-area pages is embedded from Google Maps. It does not load until you choose Accept All or select Show map. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads. The Get directions link works without loading the embedded map; following it, our Google listing, Facebook or Instagram takes you onto those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply.

Website analytics and masked behavior data are retained by Google, Meta and Microsoft according to the relevant provider settings and standard retention periods. Google Analytics data is typically retained for up to 14 months. Appointment details are kept only as long as we reasonably need them to run the spa and meet our record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we share it only with the service providers described above who help us operate the spa and its website.

Under UK data protection law you may ask us what information we hold about you, request that it be corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or withdraw your cookie consent at any time. Simply email or call us using the details above and we will deal with your request promptly and without fuss.

If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's independent regulator.

If the way we use information changes, we will update this page and revise the date shown at the top. We would encourage a quick glance at it whenever you notice that date has moved.
