12 Minutes From Town

Thai Massage near
Stockton-on-Tees

5 miles down the A135 and you are on Yarm High Street, in a candlelit Thai spa rather than a treatment room above a shop. Rated 5.0 from 75 Google reviews. Open 7 days.

Worth The Short Drive

Closer than most of Stockton realises

Yarm feels like a separate world from Stockton town centre, which is precisely why guests come here to switch off, but the distance is barely worth mentioning. It is roughly 5 miles. From the High Street you follow the A135 south through Eaglescliffe and cross the Tees, and you are parking up in Yarm within 12 minutes. From Thornaby or Ingleby it is quicker still.

What you get for that short drive is a genuine Thai spa rather than a beauty salon offering massage as a sideline. Our therapists are Thai and trained in traditional Thai technique, working from candlelit rooms on a cobbled Georgian high street. The 75 reviews on our Google listing are all 5 stars, and a number of them come from guests who now travel from Stockton monthly.

Being on Yarm High Street also means you can make an afternoon of it. There is no shortage of independent cafes, pubs and restaurants within a 2 minute walk of our door, and a great many guests book a treatment and then stay for something to eat.

Typical drive time

From Stockton High Street take the A135 south through Eaglescliffe, cross the River Tees at Yarm Bridge and continue onto Yarm High Street. For a 60 or 90 minute treatment the long stay car parks at West Street, The Old Market, Castle Dyke Wynd, Yarm Wharf and Yarm Station are £3.50 for the whole day. What To Book

Popular choices with our Stockton guests

Traditional Thai Massage, 60 minutes, £50. The authentic technique practised in Thailand. Your therapist uses palms, thumbs and forearms to apply rhythmic acupressure along the Sen energy lines, combined with assisted yoga-style stretches. Oil can be used if requested. Best for stiffness, restricted movement and desk-bound bodies — it's as much about mobility as relaxation.

Deep Tissue, 60 minutes, £50. For lower back and shoulder pain that has settled in. Worth knowing that an hour of deep tissue here costs less than several places nearer Stockton charge for the same time.

Hot Stone, 60 minutes, £65. Warmed basalt stones so tight muscle releases without heavy pressure. The treatment to book in a damp Teesside winter.

Deep Relief by Herbal, 90 minutes, £100. Our signature ritual. Thai massage, steamed herbal compresses, aromatherapy oils and head massage in an unbroken session. Book this when you have a free evening afterwards.

The full menu with every price sits on our treatments page, and if you would rather describe the problem and be told what to book, ring 07301 158604.

Planning Your Visit

Practical notes before you set off

Book ahead rather than turning up. We are a small spa and walk-in availability depends entirely on whether a therapist happens to be free. Nobody wants to drive from Stockton to be turned away, so reserve online or call 1st.

Allow time for Yarm traffic. The High Street gets genuinely busy on market days, Friday and Saturday evenings, and during Yarm Fair in October. Add 10 minutes at those times.

Arrive 5 minutes before your appointment. That is enough to change and mention any areas of tension. Arriving late shortens your treatment rather than pushing it back, because a therapist usually has another guest booked after you.

Evenings are open until 8pm, Monday to Saturday. Sundays run 11am to 5pm. Combined with free parking after 5pm, an evening appointment is often the easiest option after work.

"Had an amazing experience here, the staff were so friendly and professional, the service was extremely high quality and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Opted for the £45 1 hour hot oil massage and I felt so refreshed afterwards. Definitely very good value for money. I will be frequenting here and recommend everyone to visit as well. 10/10"
